Each year, Texas Water Foundation acknowledges leaders who have made exceptional contributions and long-lasting impact to water in Texas at the Texas Rainmaker Awards Dinner.

Save the Date for the 2025 Rainmaker Award Dinner on September 30, 2025 at the Bullock Texas State History Museum where we will honor Representative Cody Harris for House Joint Resolution 7 and the opportunity for dedicated and continuous funding for Texas water infrastructure. Doors open for Cocktail Hour at 6:00 PM and Dinner will be served at 7:00 PM.

Texas Water Foundation was proud to honor Comptroller Glenn Hegar as the 2024 Rainmaker of the Year

On September 24th, 300 water champions gathered at the Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin, TX for the 10th Rainmaker Award Dinner. With the national focus on how we finance secure water infrastructure, the recent creation of the Texas Water Fund, and state discussions turning toward dedicated funding for water infrastructure, we are fortunate to have a water champion in the Texas Comptroller. “The future of Texas, the future of our economy, the future of this great State, is going to depend on durable infrastructure and water”, Glenn Hegar, 2024.
